Glocal Portugal operates as an intermediary platform connecting international travelers with verified local service providers across Portugal. We facilitate bookings for car rentals, eSIM services, travel insurance, flights, and hotel accommodations.
Glocal Portugal acts exclusively as an intermediary or marketplace platform. We do not directly provide travel services, operate rental vehicles, issue insurance policies, operate flights, or manage hotels. All service agreements are concluded directly between you and the respective third-party service provider.

To use Glocal Portugal services, you must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts. By using our platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
When making a booking or inquiry, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
When you request a booking through Glocal Portugal, you are making an offer to enter into a contract directly with the service provider. The booking is confirmed only when you receive confirmation from the service provider, which may be transmitted through our platform.
Submitting a booking request through our platform does not guarantee availability or confirm a reservation. Availability and final pricing are subject to confirmation by the service provider.
Payments for services are processed according to the policies of each individual service provider. Glocal Portugal may facilitate payment processing but does not directly collect payment for travel services. Payment terms, accepted methods, and currency conversion are determined by the service provider.
Each service offered through Glocal Portugal is subject to the specific terms and conditions of the respective service provider. These provider terms govern matters including but not limited to:

Car rental services available through Glocal Portugal are provided by independent, licensed car rental companies operating in Portugal. Specific terms apply to car rental bookings:
Drivers must meet minimum age requirements (typically 21-25 years depending on the provider and vehicle category), hold a valid driver's license for at least one year, and provide necessary identification and payment methods as required by the rental company.
Insurance coverage, damage waivers, and liability limits are determined by the rental provider. We strongly recommend reviewing all insurance options and understanding your coverage before accepting a rental vehicle. Additional insurance through our travel insurance partners may provide supplementary coverage.
Vehicles must be returned according to the rental agreement terms. Late returns, fuel charges, toll fees, traffic violations, and damage assessments are the responsibility of the renter and are handled directly between you and the rental company.
Travel insurance products available through Glocal Portugal are underwritten and administered by licensed insurance providers. Glocal Portugal acts only as a referring platform and is not the insurer.
Coverage details, exclusions, claim procedures, and policy terms are determined by the insurance underwriter. You must carefully review the policy documents provided by the insurance company before purchase.
All insurance claims must be filed directly with the insurance provider according to their procedures. Glocal Portugal cannot process claims or guarantee claim outcomes.
Flight and hotel booking services are provided through our partner platforms. These bookings are subject to the terms and conditions of airlines, hotels, and booking platforms. Glocal Portugal is not responsible for flight delays, cancellations, hotel overbooking, or changes to travel arrangements made by airlines or hotels.
eSIM data services are provided by telecommunications partners. Service availability, data speeds, coverage areas, and activation procedures are determined by the eSIM provider. Compatibility with your device is your responsibility to verify before purchase.
All prices displayed on Glocal Portugal are provided by service providers and are subject to change without notice until booking confirmation. Prices may include or exclude taxes, fees, and surcharges depending on the service provider's policies.
Prices may be displayed in multiple currencies for convenience. Final charges are determined by the service provider and may be processed in Euro (EUR) or another currency. Currency conversion rates and foreign transaction fees are beyond our control.
Glocal Portugal may earn commissions or referral fees from service providers for bookings made through our platform. These commissions do not affect the price you pay, which is set by the service provider.
Cancellation and refund policies are determined exclusively by the service provider. You must review the cancellation terms before confirming any booking. Glocal Portugal cannot guarantee refunds and does not process refund requests. All cancellations and refund inquiries must be directed to the service provider according to their stated policies.
Requests to modify bookings (change dates, locations, vehicle types, etc.) are subject to the service provider's modification policies and may incur additional fees.
